787 Radome Access Stand #20230

This stand is designed to reach the radar dome, aka radome, on Boeing 787 aircraft. The upper deck of the 787 Radome Access Stand sits at the height of 84″ and provides a large work area for your technicians. O.S.H.A. compliant forward ascent and descent stair. Heavy-duty steel construction with ample cross bracing for durability and long service life. Single-action plunge brakes. Pull back on the lever and the radome stand is locked in place.

Main wheels: Two (16″ x 4″) Solid rubber main wheels on heavy-duty axles.
Swivel wheels:
Two (8″ x 2″) Urethane over steel wheels with precision bearings and heavy-duty axles KPL swivels.

Finish: Powder coated with WAAG high visibility orange (other colors available) and a second coat of UV resistant clear.
Steps: Galvanized steel Grip Strut with signature baked on safety yellow leading edge.
Towable: Heavy duty tow bar standard on all stands.
Light Weight Movable Deck Stairs: Two movable aluminum Grip Strut stairs on the top deck allow easy access to the radome.
Safety Gates: Safety gates located at the top of the stairs
Extension Bumpers: Two extensions with rubber bumpers close off open areas for additional safety.
